Putting your data on the web

Why use a database?  This order form looks quite similar to this one. The difference is that the second page takes its information from an MS Access database. If you want to change the information on the first page then you have to edit the page and upload it to your site. If you already have a database of your products then it's much easier to just export them into your web database and upload that. Adding, editing and deleting records is all done within the database without the need to alter the page layout of your web forms.

Alternatively, you can just keep your product information in a database on the web and make any changes to it by using an on-line form.

Try out the ordering process for yourself. Enter some test values for the quantities and submit the form.
